Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description:$20K Sign on Bonus for this Full Time position Position Purpose Mammography technologists operate a mammography unit to produce images of the breasts for diagnostic purposes under the direction of a physician. Maintains accurate patient records and charges.Operates properly and demonstrate understanding of all mammography and bone densitometry equipment and computed radiograph, direct radiographs, and PACS.Minimum Qualifications: High School graduate or equivalent is requiredGraduate from an accredited school of Radiography is requiredCurrent continuing education in mammography requiredAbility to effectively prioritize work and work under stressful situations.Ability to function in staff technologist role is requiredHospital experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferredSuccessful completion of 40 hours of mammography training.Licensure Current Florida CRT license requiredCurrent ARRT and ARRT Mammography [R.T.(R)(M)(ARRT)]registry required.
