With a strong track record in rooftop solar deployment, the business is helping accelerate the buildout of clean energy infrastructure through fast-paced, high-impact project execution.About the RoleOur client is seeking a Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial solar PV projects from pre-construction through closeout. This individual will manage project execution, drive consistency across delivery teams, and support the development of junior Project Managers while maintaining accountability for schedule, budget, quality, and safety performance.This position is based in the Greater Chicago area, with relocation support available for qualified candidates.Key ResponsibilitiesLead execution of multiple commercial solar projects across the full project lifecycleManage portfolio-level budgets, schedules, forecasting, and reportingMentor and support Project Managers and project delivery teamsCoordinate with engineering, construction, procurement, finance, and safety teamsOversee subcontractor performance, change management, and risk mitigationEnsure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within financial targetsProvide regular updates to senior leadership and key stakeholdersQualifications8+ years of experience in solar or construction project managementExperience managing multiple projects or portfolios simultaneouslyStrong knowledge of commercial solar PV construction and interconnection processesFamiliarity with EPC contracts, subcontract management, and project controlsStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsOSHA certification preferred and willingness to travel to project sites
