Substation Project Manager

We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager to support a growing portfolio of capacity expansion, distribution, and cable program initiatives that are critical to maintaining system reliability and advancing grid modernization efforts. This role will oversee multiple large-scale capital projects across programs including voltage optimization, system cable, capacity improvements, and performance enhancement initiatives. The Project Manager will manage projects from engineering design through construction across a broad service territory. Responsibilities:Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation Lead cross-functional project teams and coordinate activities across engineering, construction, and external partners Oversee projects from initiation through closeout, including contract development and management Monitor project performance, proactively identify risks, and implement corrective actions Manage project budgets (up to $5M+) and ensure delivery within financial targets Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior leadership Facilitate project meetings and maintain all project documentation, schedules, and reporting Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and meet quality standards Support continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices Qualifications:Experience working within or supporting the electric utility environment (distribution, transmission, or grid infrastructure) Understanding of engineering design and construction practices, including overhead and underground systems Proven experience managing large-scale capital projects (not small-scale initiatives) Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or other technical discipline preferred) Experience managing contractors and working with RFP processes Forecasting xywuqvp and budget management experience Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with project management tools and software Minimum 3+ years of related project management experience EEO PolicyAllied Resources Technical Consultants complies with all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action laws and regulations.
