MEDITECH Analyst – OR BillingClassification: ContractContract Length: 12 monthsLocation: RemotePosition Summary:CereCore is seeking a MEDITECH Magic OR Billing Analyst to join our team remotely. This role plays a key part in supporting Surgical Services revenue cycle and clinical workflows within the MEDITECH environment for HCA Healthcare. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of operational knowledge in Surgical Services and billing, along with hands-on MEDITECH application experience, to ensure system optimization, accurate billing workflows, and alignment between clinical documentation and revenue capture.This individual will partner closely with clinical, operational, IT, and revenue cycle stakeholders to assess workflows, execute system builds and enhancements, and provide ongoing support across the application lifecycle. The position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally in a remote environment.Responsibilities:Plan, design, implement, maintain, and provide ongoing optimization and support for MEDITECH EMR software and other MEDITECH clinical applications.Perform workflow assessments, capture business needs, and analyze internal systems to determine functional requirements for optimal utilization of MEDITECH applications.Possess clinical and application knowledge and experience.Execute builds, upgrades, and system enhancements as needed.Support applications throughout all phases of implementation.Deliver post-implementation training, support, troubleshooting, and maintenance.Work within cross-functional teams and with end-users to achieve application integration to meet clinical and operational needs.Requirements:1–3 years of experience working with MEDITECH Magic, C/S, 6.x clinical applications, or Expanse.General knowledge of the Surgical Services area and billing required.Experience with business process analysis and design, including identification and implementation of best practices when applicable within project timelines.Surgical background, PACU, Same Day Surgery experience, and/or medical billing experience preferred.Knowledge of SMART would be an additional asset.Accounting operational experience preferred.Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively within a remote team environment.Willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to evolving priorities.Strong documentation skills, organizational skills, and the ability to interact with team members cross-functionally.Creates deliverables independently.Leads in communicating requirements to development, testing, education, and training teams.Ability to learn new technologies, methods, and processes.Respect for diversity of experience, characteristics, viewpoints, and opinions.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Information Management, Nursing, Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.Equivalent combination of education, clinical experience, and/or MEDITECH application experience will be considered.Relevant certifications in healthcare IT, revenue cycle, or clinical informatics are a plus.
