Job Title:Administrative Assistant — Residential Remodeling (Part-Time, Remote)About the RoleKrogstad Remodeling is a growing residential remodeling company specializing in kitchens, bathrooms, and interior renovations. We’re looking for a highly organized Administrative Assistant with specific experience in construction or remodeling to support our operations, subcontractor compliance, and financial admin.ResponsibilitiesEnsure full compliance with MN misclassification of employees regulations, including documentation of subcontractor independenceManage subcontractor compliance (COIs, W-9s, independent contractor documentation Organize receipts, project folders, and job costing documentation Handle invoicing and track client payment schedulesElectronically pre-send clients our contract for review Maintain and organize designer digital selections, plans, and homeowner communication logs Track material deliveries/ETAsSend clients lien waivers after projects are paid in full.Coordinate and schedule “sub walthrough’s” for upcoming projects Support accurate recordkeeping for labor vs. subcontractor classification rulesWhat We’re Looking For 2+ years in construction admin, remodeling coordination, or similar Strong understanding of contractor/subcontractor workflows Proficient with QuickBooks Online & Google Drive Excellent communication and organizational habitsAble to bring creative operational solutions — improving organization, simplifying workflows, and helping build better systems as we growComfortable working remotely with weekly check-ins.
