Video Management Systems Engineer (Secret Clearance Required)

This role supports field users globally and plays a key role in troubleshooting, system optimization, and operational support. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, hands-on network experience, and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical challenges efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-level technical support to federal customersTroubleshoot and resolve issues involving IP and analog video systemsConfigure and support industry-standard networking and camera equipmentDiagnose, reproduce, and analyze system issues using structured troubleshooting methodologiesSupport and provide oversight to Tier 2 engineering effortsDevelop and contribute to technical documentation and training materialsParticipate in meetings, technical briefings, and working sessionsCommunicate effectively with both leadership and field personnelRequired QualificationsActive Secret Clearance (or higher)Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in one or more of the following:Video surveillance systems (IP-based and analog)Security camera systems (hardware and software)Network systems administration and deploymentStrong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routers, switches, VPNs, NAT, VLANs, firewall rules)Experience with IP addressing and network troubleshootingExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a dynamic, team-oriented environmentIdeal CandidateOrganized, proactive, and detail-orientedComfortable working in mission-focused environmentsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAble to manage multiple priorities while maintaining technical accuracy
