The position will be primarily located at the Suffolk Building, Falls Church, Virginia, although responsibilities may extend to the Mark Center and Pentagon locations. Headquartered in Tysons, Virginia, LMI is committed to delivering impactful results that strengthen missions and drive lasting value.ResponsibilitiesProvide general physical security knowledge with an emphasis in industrial and physical security standards for OUSD A&S clientProvides support liaison between Washington Headquarters Services (WHS), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), and the Pentagon Force Protection Agency for all security matters as they relate to National Security Information and Investigations. Analyze complex physical security issues and provide cost-effective recommendations that meet policy requirementsPrepare/review Fixed Facility Checklists and documentation supporting SCIF accreditation process, compartmented area approval and secure area approval process Draft, review, and maintain internal policy documents, standard operating procedures, and instructional handouts pertaining to Physical and Industrial SecurityProvide oversight and audit key and lock, GSA container, and alarm testing and maintenance programs in accordance with applicable DoD policy requirements Conduct staff assistant visitsAdvise on matters related to sharing, marking, safeguarding, storage, dissemination, declass or decontrol, records management, and destruction, as well as reporting requirementsUse DoD security directives, instructions, standards, and guidelines to enforce compliance and mitigate security risksReview and provide assistance with developing DD254sOperate independently with minimal supervision to continuously update security programs, and deliver solutions that facilitate our client's missionGive clear oral and written explanations of assigned tasks, relevant issues, analytic approach, and resultsQualificationsTS/SCI clearance is required5 or more years of experience supporting DoD or other Federal agenciesBachelor's degree is preferredContractor support shall have working knowledge of the following DoD Security Systems, Regulatory Guidance and Regulations:Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS); Defense Information System for Security (DISS); Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF)Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills, ability to establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external staff members, and the ability to work independently and take a proactive roleFlexibility and ability to prioritize tasks according to senior staff requirements.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePointA true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environmentHigh energy, enthusiasm, tact, ability to interact effectively with senior executives from Government and industry as well as Pentagon staff members.Ability to create and foster a cooperative work environment.Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.Targeted Salary Range: $114,000 - $120,000Disclaimer:The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
