The role involves hands on development, analysis, and ongoing enhancement of Java based systems that power regulatory surveillance and monitoring functions. The ideal candidate will contribute to both new solution development and maintenance of existing platforms, while collaborating with globally distributed teams in a fast paced, delivery driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesHands‑on development of mission‑critical surveillance applications supporting compliance and regulatory initiativesDesign, build, and enhance Python‑based backend services and APIsOwn delivery of assigned JIRA stories across monthly release cyclesDevelop and support solutions on the Quartz platform, addressing regulatory initiatives, audit findings, and control enhancementsAnalyze complex, domain‑specific datasets for trade surveillance and risk use casesParticipate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and SDLC best practicesCollaborate closely with quantitative researchers, business analysts, and compliance partnersRequired Skills & Experience5+ years of hands‑on software development experienceStrong, production‑level Python developmentREST API development and service‑oriented architectureReactJS / full‑stack development experienceExperience with relational and object databasesKnowledge of Fixed Income and Equity productsExperience building risk, pricing, or surveillance applicationsExposure to Trade Surveillance, Market Misconduct, Global Markets CompliancePrior experience working on or strong familiarity with the Quartz platformSolid understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, and version controlSoft SkillsStrong verbal and written communicationSelf‑starter with strong ownership and accountabilityExcellent analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging skillsAbility to collaborate effectively across technology, compliance, and audit teamsEqual Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledIf you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
