IDMC Developer

Akkodis is seeking an IDMC Developer for a Contract job with a client in Stamford, CT / Remote. The ideal candidate is an experienced Informatica IDMC Data Lineage Specialist with strong knowledge of metadata management, Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC), Axon, and PowerCenter.Rate Range: $53/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.IDMC Developer job responsibilities include:• Implement and configure Informatica IDMC lineage capabilities including metadata scanning, parsing, linking, and visualization.• Build and maintain end-to-end data lineage maps across databases, ETL platforms, cloud systems, and BI tools.• Partner with Data Governance, Data Engineering, and Business Teams to identify and onboard new metadata sources• Validate lineage accuracy, resolve lineage gaps, and document transformation rules for traceability.• Automate metadata ingestion from systems such as Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, Tableau, PowerCenter, and IICS.• Develop custom lineage parsers/connectors using APIs or Informatica SDKs when required.• Train business and technical users on accessing and interpreting lineage through EDC/UI.Desired Qualifications:• 6-8 years of experience in Informatica lineage, metadata management, or data governance roles.• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC, Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC), Axon, and PowerCenter/IICS.• Excellent understanding of metadata ingestion frameworks, data lineage modeling, and catalog administration.• Familiarity with Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, Tableau, and cloud/on-prem data sources.• Experience using APIs or SDKs to build custom parsers and automation workflows.• Strong collaboration skills with ability to work across Data Governance, Data Engineering, and Business Teams.• Understanding of compliance/governance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, and enterprise data standards.• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to train end-users and document processes.If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
