Assembler

Assemble automotive seat components and insert components into molds prior to foam pouring. Operate pneumatic hand tools to apply wax to molds. Demold finished foam seat pads and place parts on the conveyor for the next stage. Clean foam particles and wax buildup from molds. Apply aerosol demolding agent/wax to mold surfaces. Inspect parts for defects and perform repairs using pneumatic grinders and hand tools. Trim excess flash and ribbon vents using scissors or air-trimmer tools. Inspect parts for underfills, hard spots, foam-free areas, and other defects. Pack, prepare, and label finished products for shipment. Report process issues such as underfills, wax burns, or other defects to the supervisor and line technician. Maintain a clean and safe work area during downtime and at the end of each shift. Follow all applicable work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
