Project Engineer - Infrastructure & VMware (Remote + Travel) Compensation: $64/hr Employment Type: Contract to Hire (6months) This is a project execution role, not operations or desktop support. You’ll own infrastructure initiatives end‑to‑end – from architecture and build to implementation and handoff. Remote role with nationwide travel. Key Responsibilities Design and build Windows Server environments from scratch Rack, stack, and configure servers (hardware, OS, networking) Deliver VMware implementations, data center builds, and storage projects Execute multi‑site infrastructure deployments Manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast‑paced environment Travel to U.S. practice locations (~25% average, fully reimbursed) Required Qualifications 8+ years Windows Server engineering experience Strong VMware project experience (beyond labs) Proven background in infrastructure project execution Ability to work independently across multiple projects Nice to Have Citrix experience Networking (firewalls, VLANs, switching) MSP or consulting background Additional Information Project-focused – no desktop or operational support work. #J-18808-Ljbffr
