Azure Solutions Architect

Salary is 170k to 200k + bonusWe are seeking an experienced Azure Solutions Architect to design and deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role will drive architecture strategy, guide engineering teams, and support cloud adoption and modernization initiatives aligned with business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and architect enterprise-grade Azure solutions across compute, networking, storage, security, and identity.Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including re-platforming, refactoring, and cloud-native development.Establish and enforce Azure architecture standards, best practices, and governance frameworks (security, compliance, and cost optimization).Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams to translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions.Design for high availability, disaster recovery, and performance using Azure-native services.Guide implementation of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).Review and validate solution architectures to ensure alignment with the Azure Well-Architected Framework.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering and development teams.Drive cost optimization, monitoring, logging, and performance tuning strategies.Stay current with Azure services, tools, and emerging cloud technologies.Required QualificationsStrong hands-on experience designing and implementing solutions on Microsoft Azure.Deep knowledge of core Azure services, including Virtual Machines, App Services, AKS, Azure SQL, Storage, Networking, and Azure Active Directory.Experience with cloud security and identity management (Azure AD, RBAC, Key Vault, network security).Proven experience with hybrid cloud environments and on-premises to Azure integrations.Proficiency with infrastructure as code and automation tools (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).Solid understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience leading architecture decisions and cross-functional initiatives.Preferred QualificationsAzure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or equivalent.Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS).Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.Experience working in large-scale or regulated enterprise environments.
