Apply via Dice today!A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Network TechnicianPosition Type: Full-Time, Contract Duration: 8 months + Possible ExtensionLocation: Englewood, CO Hybrid As a Network Technician, you will do:Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, route, and manage structured cabling (copper and fiber) within lab environmentsPerform cable terminations, testing, and troubleshootingLabel and document all network infrastructure to ensure clarity and traceabilityRack, stack, and install network equipment (switches, routers, patch panels, etc.)Maintain high standards of cable management, cleanliness, and build qualityEnsure all installations meet defined standards for reliability and scalabilitySupport ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and reorganizations of lab environmentsCollaborate with engineering teams to support test setups and infrastructure needsMaintain accurate documentation of builds, layouts, and configurationsRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in network infrastructure, cabling, or field technician rolesStrong hands-on experience with Layer 1 networking concepts and executionProficiency in structured cabling (Cat5e/6/6a, fiber optics, patch panels)Experience with cable termination, crimping, splicing, and testing toolsStrong understanding of cable labeling standards and documentation practicesExperience racking and installing network hardwareDetail-oriented with a focus on organization, cleanliness, and quality workmanshipPreferred QualificationsBackground in data center or lab environment setupExperience with fiber optic technologies and troubleshootingFamiliarity with network diagrams and infrastructure documentation toolsBasic understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking conceptsRelevant certifications (e.g., BICSI, CCNA, CompTIA Network+)Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.Please hit APPLY to provide the required information, and we will be back in touch as soon as possible.We are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar positions.
