Location: Hybrid – In-office Tuesday, Thursday, and 2nd & 4th Fridays each month. Schedule subject to change based on business needs.About the CompanyA leading engineering and infrastructure organization supporting large-scale industrial and energy-related projects is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller III to support complex, multi-discipline project environments. This role is critical to maintaining document integrity, workflow compliance, and communication between internal teams, clients, and vendors.About the RoleThe Document Controller will lead document control activities across complex projects while ensuring all engineering and project documentation is processed, tracked, distributed, and maintained in accordance with established procedures and contractual requirements. The ideal candidate will possess advanced EDMS expertise, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual Spanish fluency is required.ResponsibilitiesLead document control activities for complex and multi-discipline projectsServe as primary point of contact for project documentation activitiesUpload, manage, track, and distribute documents within the EDMS platformMaintain accurate metadata, document numbering, revision control, and filing structuresProcess transmittals, correspondence, workflows, approvals, and distribution matricesManage project Master Document Lists (MDL/MDR) and ensure alignment with engineering deliverablesCoordinate document reviews between internal teams, clients, and vendorsPrepare project reporting and status updatesEnsure compliance with project procedures, contractual requirements, and audit standardsSupport workflow optimization and continuous process improvementsMentor and provide guidance to junior document control staffSupport audits, quality reviews, and document quality checksQualifications4–6 years of document control experience supporting complex projectsAdvanced EDMS knowledge requiredStrong preference for experience with Content ServerMust be fluent in Spanish (written and verbal)High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat ProStrong organizational, analytical, and reporting skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to interpret contract documentation requirementsStrong follow-up discipline and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced team environmentAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionPreferred SkillsBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Management, Quality Assurance, Process Management, or a related field preferredExperience supporting engineering, industrial, infrastructure, or energy-related projects preferred
