Business Analyst

Description We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. This position offers a contract with the possibility of transitioning into a long-term role based on performance. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial analysis, process improvement, and software systems to effectively support organizational goals. Responsibilities Conduct detailed financial analysis, including cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis. Create and maintain reports such as KPI dashboards and trial balance summaries. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address gaps in processes, utilizing Agile Scrum methodologies. Analyze trends and provide actionable insights to improve business operations. Participate in month-end and annual close processes to ensure accurate financial reporting. Review and document business processes to identify opportunities for improvement. Utilize Sage 300 and other accounting software to manage financial data efficiently. Investigate variances and prepare detailed explanations to support decision-making. Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to optimize workflows. Support call center operations by analyzing customer service metrics and recommending enhancements. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar financial role. Proficiency in Sage 300 and other accounting software systems. Strong analytical skills, with experience in variance analysis, cash flow modeling, and financial reporting. Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and process improvement practices. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and document findings effectively. Experience in month-end and annual financial close processes. Knowledge of key financial metrics, such as KPIs and trial balance analysis. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
