The digital health team is a fast-paced, hybrid team of practitioners that spans everything from digital and social strategy to execution. The successful candidate will be a passionate digital strategist with hands-on digital marketing and communications experience. You are part strategist, part practitioner (‘a do-er’). You can provide insightful strategic recommendations to our clients based on your knowledge of what it takes to execute at the highest level in health communications.ResponsibilitiesSupport the team in creation of digital communications plans and goals; manage against them Support the daily client contact and client lead when appropriate; address client issues thoughtfully and effectively Consistently produce high quality internal and external communications content Build relationships with internal specialists (paid media, content, creative, planning, analytics etc.) and senior stakeholders to meet client needs Demonstrate tactical proficiency in digital/social advertising, including participating in the development of plans and working with creative and paid media specialists to execute and optimize campaigns Commit to continuous learning and improvement of skills; set and pursue stretch goals Basic Qualifications1 + year of relevant experience in public relations and/or related fields including research, advertising, management consulting, media and publishing Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experiencePreferred QualificationsThe account executive should have a solid grasp of all basic public relations tools and how they are used as well as solid research, writing and editing skills. They should have the ability to develop social content as well as build relationships with media and apply experience and initiative in developing traditional and digital media relations strategies.$50,000-70,000 annuallyAn employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees.
