For more information, visit www.datacolor.com.To support our business, we are looking for a highly motivated Sales Director, with a proven track record in developing and implementing successful growth strategies. Position Summary:The Director of Sales - Print & Packaging Americas is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to the NA & SA regional sales organization. The candidate will be responsible for delivering best in class sales performance and company expansion in these key markets. The Regional Director will be accountable for implementing strategies that drive revenue growth, profitability, and market development in line with company vision and values.  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:This role will perform, but is not limited to the following responsibilities:Develops a commercial strategy and annual sales plan for the NA market that meets and exceed company sales goals and profitability objectivesProvides comprehensive monthly analysis and reporting of regional sales performance vs. quarterly and annual budget and appropriate action plans to meet and exceed deliverablesProvides regional leadership on go to market plans for new productsResponsible for the recruitment, training, performance management, and development of the NA Sales organization (own employees and agents)Coordinates sales operations with all other departments of the CompanyEnsure sales organization develops, maintains and improves business relations with all customers of the Company.Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the Company.Initiates and coordinates development of market development plans to penetrate new marketsAssists in the development and implementation of marketing plans Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding market performanceMaintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by Account ExecutivesCoaches Account Executives in preparation of proposals and presentationsControls expenses to meet budget guidelinesAdheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the teamExpert with salesforce.com or similar sales automation software (ZOHO)Exceptional management skills in developing and executing sophisticated sales strategies, tactics, plans and programs Mastery of sales metrics and optimization of sales teams  Experience & Qualifications:Bachelor degree in a business related field (Preferred)5-7 years+ of experience in Regional Sales Management roles    Business to business and business to consumer sales experience (B2B experience is a must, B2C is preferred)   Experience in the color management print and packaging industry (Preferred)Other target adjacent industries (Analytical instruments/software, measuring equipment, B2B industrial products)Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirementsWillingness to travel and work in a global team of professionalsProven leadership ability to drive sales growthOutstanding sales management skillsStrong executive presence with a C-level mentalityMarketing knowledge and experience (a preference)Proven ability to recruit and motivate a world class sales teamDemonstrated ability to develop & implement a successful growth strategy Strong executive communication and influencing skillsCompleter finisher with a strong say/do ratioStrong business and analytical skills       Experience with salesforce.com or a similar CRM tool Location:The preferred role location is our office in Danvers, Massachusetts. Typically, Datacolor aims to hire for this position at the midpoint of the range. However, in exceptional cases where an external candidate possesses significantly higher experience, credentials, or expertise than expected, Datacolor may consider offering a salary or rate towards the upper end of the range.
