Maintenance Technician
Job Title: Maintenance Technician Pay: $29.00 - $31.00 per hour (based on experience) Shift: 2nd Shift, 2:00pm–10:30pm, Monday–Friday (Initial training on day shift for 90 days) Location: Duluth, GA Position Overview We are looking for a reliable Maintenance Technician to support equipment operations and facility upkeep in our manufacturing environment. This hands-on role focuses on equipment diagnosis, machine repairs, preventative maintenance, and supporting production uptime.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and preventive maintenance on a variety of manufacturing equipment (tanks, conveyors, motors, and more)Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment breakdowns to root cause and implement effective repairsDismantle machinery and replace or repair defective components using appropriate tools and equipmentInspect and measure machine parts to detect wear or failure, utilizing calipers, micrometers, and similar devicesAdjust or calibrate devices and controls (including drives and controllers) for proper functionalityAssist in fabrication of parts and modifications utilizing shop equipment and welding as neededMaintain detailed maintenance records, work orders, and inventory of spare partsComply with all safety protocols, contribute to a safe and clean work environment, and support team operationsRequired QualificationsMinimum of 2 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role in a manufacturing settingHigh school diploma or GED; technical/vocational training or trade certification preferredCompetency with mechanical troubleshooting, use of hand and power tools, and basic machine shop equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical documents (manuals, schematics, maintenance procedures)Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs., maneuvering heavy parts, and working on your feet for extended periodsPreferred QualificationsExperience with welding and fabricationComputer literacy for maintenance tracking and documentationExperience in food manufacturing or a regulated industry environmentStrong understanding of workplace safety standards and regulationsWillingness to work occasional overtime or extended shifts as neededWhy Join Our Team?Consistent 2nd shift schedule with comprehensive training providedCompetitive pay determined by experience and qualificationsSupportive team environment with opportunities for growthModern workplace focused on safety, skill development, and process improvementIf you are ready to ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing equipment and facilities, we encourage you to apply!
