Eastern Oklahoma State College is a comprehensive community college providing instruction in a wide range of curricula.
Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent required.
Previous custodial and/or maintenance experience.
Prior supervisory skills preferred.
Demonstrates thoroughness and monitors work to ensure quality
Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
Adapt to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing, strip & wax, carpet cleaning, and other specialized treatments
Dependable, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.
Ability to become versed in the college purchasing system
Actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly
Responsibilities:
Leading of all custodial personnel to include scheduling, maintaining supplies, training and fill in support for all custodial personnel on leave.
Sweeps, dust, mops, scrubs, washes, vacuums, waxes, and polishes building floors, walls, woodwork, windows, furniture, equipment, and hardware.
Cleans and sanitizes laboratories, washrooms, and bedrooms, and keeps washrooms supplied with paper, towels, and soap.
Inspects quarters for maintenance of proper housekeeping standards.
Orders and distributes custodial supplies; maintains inventory.
Collects and disposes of trash and garbage, moves equipment and furniture such as beds, tables, and chairs.
Responsible for setup of campus events and meeting spaces.
Attendance at major campus events for custodial support

Salary: $12.50 per hour with full benefits
