Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Full-Time Faculty Member specializing in Meat Processing at Eastern Oklahoma State College, located in Wilburton, OK. The faculty member will be responsible for teaching courses in meat processing and related areas, designing curriculum, maintaining educational standards, and ensuring students gain hands-on experience. Responsibilities also include supervising and mentoring students, maintaining industry partnerships, conducting lab work, and complying with safety and regulatory guidelines. Qualifications Strong knowledge and experience in meat processing, meat science, and industry techniquesProficiency in teaching, curriculum development, and instructional designExcellent communication, mentoring, and student engagement skillsExperience with lab management and adherence to safety protocols and industry regulationsAbility to build relationships with industry stakeholders and engage in workforce developmentCommitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environmentBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Meat Science, Animal Science, Agriculture, or related field; industry certifications are a plusTeaching or industry experience in meat processing or a related discipline is highly beneficial
