Java J2EE Developer

Overview In this role you will develop and maintain J2EE-based applications within the Insurance domain, collaborating with offshore/onshore teams to deliver quality software through the SDLC. You will translate requirements into technical designs, contribute to architecture artifacts, and support implementation and post‑go live activities. You’ll perform reviews, testing, and change management, while helping estimate timelines and communicate with clients. This opportunity offers hands-on delivery within a mission-driven IT services environment and exposure to cross-functional teams. ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain and test J2EE applicationsWork with Bizflow and AngularJS in project deliveryTranslate functional/non-functional requirements into system designsContribute to requirements elicitation and creation of architecture documents and design artifactsDeliver high-quality code and provide implementation and transition supportConduct design and code reviews, independent testing, and change management activitiesAssist with estimations and scheduling for projectsSupport client interfacing activities and timely reportingCollaborate with offshore/onshore resourcesCommunicate effectively in written and verbal forms Key requirements5+ years of J2EE development experience4+ years with Bizflow; AngularJS framework preferredInsurance domain knowledge5+ years of SDLC experience4+ years translating requirements to technical designsBachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent; or 3 years of progressive experience in lieu of education4+ years with Java J2EE technologiesStrong communication skills and client interaction experienceAbility to work with offshore/onshore resourcesExcellent written and verbal communicationClient interfacing and collaborationCross-functional teamworkJ2EE/Java technologiesBizflowAngularJS
