Job Description:
The Assistant Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial functions within the organization. This individual will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheet accounts, income statements, and capitalization statements. This individual will also assist in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and budgets related to sales and profit projections. The Assistant Controller will report to the Controller and work under the supervision of the Business Manager.
Core Functions:
Prepare all financial statements including balance sheet accounts
Assist in preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and budgets related to sales and profit projections
Assist in the preparation of tax returns for business entities
Assist with annual budget development process
Assist with monthly close review process
Assist with month-end closing process
Perform other duties as assigned by the controller
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
4+ years of experience in accounting or finance
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,227.81 - $74,941.02 per year
