Electrical Engineer 2

This is a dynamic, hands-on role for a self-starter who thrives in a fluid startup environment. Your key responsibilities are as follows:Work independently and in a team while over communicating with the manager and the teammates. Execute complex engineering tasks involving planning, preparation, data/information collection and analysis and decision-making in a process involving peer reviews and documentation of the resultsUse tenacity, patience, self-discipline and passion for excellence to assure accuracy of execution schedule, data quality/integrity, conformance to company best practices, clarity in communication and documentationUse every opportunity to grow competency thru mentorship, curiosity, communication, exposure and initiativeRequirementsThis position requires access to export-controlled information. Employment is contingent upon the applicant being a U.S. person as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3). Experience:A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, ideally within a startup or technology companyExperience with AC/ DC power distribution, cable design, and cable routing for automation systemsExperience in analog circuit design, ADC/DAC, DC-DC convertors and controllers a plusPCB and PCA design and layout a plusSkills: Working design knowledge of electrical schematics including component selection to meet requirements and circuit architecturesAbility to use simulation tools such as SPICE for analyzing circuit performance a plusExperience using Altium Designer a plusDuties and Responsibilities:Responsible for working with a group of engineers on electrical designsDesign, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems or subsystems Documentation of design architecture and formal design synthesisElectrical schematic capture and BOM maintenancePCB layout and production of PCB cam filesInitial bring-up and testing of designs and diagnosis of any failuresParticipate in failure root cause analysis and implement corrective actionsDevelop prototypes to retire key development risksStart-up Mindset:You're creative, flexible, and eager to wear multiple hats. You're passionate about building systems from the ground up and comfortable with ambiguity and change. BenefitsThe expected annual salary range for this position is $85,000-$125,000.
