International Income Generation Specialist

This role will develop and lead all of Light a Single Candle's (LASC) Income Generation work. The focus is primarily international but will have some application in St. Louis.Primary Responsibilities:Design and implement a scalable and replicable income-generation model tailored to the communities we serveSupport Implementing Partners to identify, research, and evaluate successful income-generating projects along with strategy executionBuild and document processes, systems, and tools to support income-generating work within our projectsCollaborate with internal team members to ensure alignment, resources and operational integration of new initiativesLead pilots, assess feasibility, and manage risk on new income generation strategiesAnalyze historic organizational data to understand past efforts, both successful and failed, and use insights to inform future strategiesAssist our Partners in Creating business plans and return on investment (ROI) projections for potential earned income streams for each communityBuild an integrated measurement and evaluation framework including benchmarks to track financial and impact performance of income-generating initiatives across all Partner portfolios on income generation projectsDefine clear key performance indicators (KPI) and create data dashboards to communicate progress and learning with leadership and stakeholdersSupport all income generation projects from the schedule design to the completion of the project to include a final statement of the sustainability and ROI on the projectCompile and analyze cost benefit analysis documents for each projectDevelop and nurture relationships with Partners and project managers on each projectImplement a process to confirm the actual net incremental income by Partner at the end of each year to confirm accuracy and learningsTrack the execution of income projections year over year with the annual results, while comparing them to results at the end of the proposed project time frameIntervene with Partners and Implementing Partners as needed to achieve theincome generation resultsActively learn and research opportunities for income generation potential and propose to others for feedback and implementationAdditional Expectations:Candidate will reside in St. Louis, MO region and work out of the Chesterfield, MO officeThe LASC team members work together predominantly from our office, remote work exceptions are occasional or as neededUnderstands the role of LASC and philanthropic organizations as a supportive and long-term relationship with its PartnersAssist the President and Executive Director of the foundation as requested and perform additional duties as necessaryQualifications:Bachelor's degree required3-5 years' experience in International Program DevelopmentHigh math and organizational skillsEntrepreneurial mindset with a proven track record of building or scaling businessStrong measurement and evaluation experience, particularly in tracking performance across financial, operational, and social impact metricsExcellent computer skills, including Excel spreadsheet proficiencyDemonstrated ability to research best practices from similar organizationsExcellent process development and organizational design skillsStrong relationship-building and interpersonal communication skills, with experience managing external stakeholders and partnershipsProactive, adaptable, and highly self-directed toward actionAbility to present data and findings to LASC Leadership team and PartnersStrong written and verbal communication skillsPersonal Characteristics:Compassion for serving the poor coupled with a commitment to support their potentialEmbraces a model of empowerment, accountability, partnership, and hope in executing the work of sustainable poverty recoverySelf-motivated, works well independently, and desires to participate in creating a positive team environmentExcellent verbal, written, and follow-up skillsStrong and professional work ethic, flexible, and adaptive to changeEnjoys networking and identifying solutions in response to challengesCan manage and succeed in providing support to multiple projects & partners simultaneouslyWillingness to lead as needed within LASC and through the role with our PartnersWage and Benefits:Will be competitive and dependent upon earnings history, skills and qualifications.This first time role has a salary range of $90,000-$110,000Paid vacation and holidays, health insurance, and retirement plan benefits included
