To assist licensed personnel in the delivery of quality patient care.REQUIRED SKILLS:• Excellent customer service skills.• Self-directing, able to work with little direct supervision.• Empathy for the needs of patients.• Effective oral and written communication skills.• Ability to communicate through spoken ans written English.• Treats patients and others with courtesy and respect, presenting a positive public image.• Works well as a team member.• Ensures confidentiality and security of patients' medical information.WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE TO THE FOLLOWING STUDER PHILOSOPHIES AND PRINCIPLES:• HCAPS Patient Perception.• Hourly Rounding with Intention.• Bedside Shift Report.• AIDET.• Daily Huddles.FUNCTIONS:• Floats as requested by the team leader and/or supervisor/staffing coordinator.• Other duties as assigned.Required SkillsMinimum Education:• High School Graduate or GED equivalent.• Successful completion of Nurse Aide course or the equivalent.• Current Certified Nursing Aide from the state of Kentucky.• BLS certification - American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or American Red Cross (Healthcare Provider) required, must be current.Required ExperienceMINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:• One year experience as a Nursing Aide is preferred.Qualifications:Minimum Education:• High School Graduate or GED equivalent.• Successful completion of Nurse Aide course or the equivalent.• Current Certified Nursing Aide from the state of Kentucky.• BLS certification - American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or American Red Cross (Healthcare Provider) required, must be current.
