Client Experience Manager

Client Experience ManagerThesis Personal Training | Washington, DC · Bethesda · McLean/Tysons Field-based | Reports to the Head of Marketing Base [55-65K Depending on experience] | Year-one Target OTE $[130-150K].Uncapped commissionAbout ThesisThesis is a premium 1:1 personal training company with three locations in the DC metro (Downtown DC, Tenleytown, Tysons) and a fourth on the way. Our clients are executives, physicians, lawyers, and founders who want a coach, not a gym membership. Packages run from about $1,900 to $14,000.Four years in, we're profitable and growing, and every client we have came in through referral, reputation, or an inbound lead. Nobody's job has ever been to go get them. That's the job.The jobYou'll be our first dedicated business development hire. Half of what you do is build pipeline that doesn't exist yet: referral relationships with physical therapy clinics, orthopedic and sports medicine practices, chiropractors, and physicians; corporate accounts with law firms, consulting shops, and trade associations near our locations; club and community networks in Bethesda, McLean, and Northwest DC. The other half is converting: running consults, closing, and following up until the answer is yes or a firm no. You'll keep your pipeline in the CRM, current, with a next step on every prospect. You'll report your numbers every Monday, and you'll be paid on the revenue you generate.Year one, the target is $[500K] in new client revenue from relationships and accounts you built. We'll walk you through how we got to that number in the first conversation. By month six, we should be able to point to clients and revenue that exist because you were here. What this job is notYou're not managing onboarding, planning event logistics, staffing a front desk, or building marketing automations. Once a client signs, our GMs and trainers own the experience. If you host a physician lunch or a client dinner, it's because it puts you in a room with people you need to meet, and the logistics are on us, not you. We're hiring you to find and close business. Everything else is a distraction from that, and we'll treat it that way.Who does well herePeople who have sold something expensive to affluent buyers and sourced their own pipeline doing it. Medical device or pharma reps who know how to get past a front desk. Financial advisor program alumni who built a book from a cold list. Agency recruiters who are done with the desk. Membership advisors who were #1 on the board because they worked outside the club. Military recruiters and transitioning NCOs and officers. If you've got a President's Club, a top-10% finish, or a quota you blew through, we want to hear about it.Who doesn'tAnyone whose first question is how many leads we'll hand them. Anyone who discounts to close. Anyone who needs to be told what to do on Monday morning. What we're looking forFive or more years selling a high-ticket product or service to affluent buyers, with numbers you can back up. A shorter track record works if it's exceptional. Tell us about it.You built your own pipeline: cold outreach, referral networks, walking into offices, asking for introductions. You can walk someone through a $10,000 purchase without getting weird about the price.Organized enough to run a real pipeline in a CRM without being told to, and to report on it every week.Persistent without being a pest. Some interest in fitness or health. You'll be selling coaching to people who take theirs seriously. It helps if you do too.CompensationBase salary: 55-65K depending on experience.Year-one on-target earnings: $130-150K. Commission is uncapped.Commission is paid on new revenue you source and close. Inbound leads pay at a lower rate, new created leads pay at a higher rate.Benefits: health, dental, vision, PTO. Plus complimentary personal training at Thesis.Where and whenThis is a field role. Most of your week is spent outside our four walls: clinics, practices, law firms, and clubs across DC, Bethesda and Chevy Chase, McLean, and Tysons. The rest is at a Thesis location running consults and tours. Evenings and weekends are not off limits. You'll be covering ground between the District and Northern Virginia, so plan on driving.
