Welder/ Fabricator (Shop)Location: Ashland, VAPay: Based on experience and skill levelShift: Monday - Thursday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (overtime frequently available)Description:We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator for a full-time, shop-based role focused on fabricating miscellaneous parts and structural frames. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on welding experience who can work independently and as part of a team.Requirements:Minimum 2 years of welding/fabrication experienceAbility to read and follow instructions and work collaboratively with a teamStrong understanding of welding techniques and basic metallurgyAbility to plan work and select appropriate tools and equipmentHigh School Diploma or GED preferredMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screenPositive attitude and willingness to learnKey Responsibilities:Measure, layout, and fit parts and assemblies according to specificationsCut materials using saws, ironworkers, and other metalworking equipmentPrepare components for welding using grinders, sanders, and related toolsPerform welding in flat, vertical, and overhead positionsDetermine proper welding methods and equipment based on materials and requirementsOperate overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials and finished productsLift up to 50 lbs as neededSchedule & Benefits:Full-time: Monday - Thursday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (overtime frequently available)Health, dental, and vision insurance after 60 days (employer pays majority)Paid holidays after 90 daysPTO accrual begins on day one (usable after 90 days)100% employer-paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disability after 6 months401(k) Profit Sharing Plan eligibility after 1 year (no employee contribution required)
