Surgery - General Nurse Practitioner

Please ask about our generous referral fees!Locum job openingSeeking a board certified or truly board eligible NP/PA Must have previous CT surgery experience This is a needed position for scrubbing for CT Surgery as a First Assist The need is due to vacancy as well as a provider out on FMLA APP would need to be able to endoscopic vein harvesting Will consider provider who can only do weekends Mon-Fri 7a-6p then night call 6p-7a. Weekend call 7a-7a with rounding approx. 10a-4p Scheduled surgical cases and rotating on call for emergency off hours cases. Those of the provider level would be expected to round and see patients in the hospital Setting The physicians field all the calls over night If cases scheduled, scrub with team; or if scheduled as hospital coverage, print list and discuss with other team members and divide and conquer the patient list Discuss with physician any issues and sign off for their patients AVG # of patients per day/night: Varies but minimal and surgeons take overnight first call APP would only be on for emergency surgical call 2 floor APPs and 2 surgical APPs.
