Travel Registered Nurse First Assist Job
Overview Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA) opportunity in Templeton, California. This travel, temporary assignment starts 06/08/2026 for a 13-week contract in a hospital setting. Weekly pay range is $2,819 to $3,069. Shift is 4x10-hour days. The RNFA will assist under the direction of the primary operating surgeon in perioperative care, coordinating and delivering patient care within facility policies. This position is represented by CNA and is managed through Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,819–$3,069 per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 4x10-hour shifts - Start date: 06/08/2026 - Setting: Hospital perioperative environment on a travel assignment - Extension opportunities: Possible beyond the initial contract Responsibilities - Perform professional nursing functions in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; coordinate, manage, provide, and delegate care to meet Standards of Nursing Practice. - Assist under the direction of the primary operating surgeon in the perioperative care of patients undergoing a surgical experience. - Serve as RNFA within facility policies and guidelines; demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and collaboration with the operating room team. - Work closely with the surgical team, including circulator and anesthesia staff, to support safe and efficient perioperative processes. - Maintain patient safety, infection control, and documentation practices; align with Tenet Standards of Conduct (Service, People, Quality, Growth, Cost) as applicable to the role.
