This Cardiac Anesthesia Locum Tenens position is located in TexasLocation: Northeast Texas (Inquire for specific location)Duration: April 1 December 2025Reason for coverage: loss of a providerSchedule: FTE - 4 weeks per month only (at this time will not consider 2-3 weeks per month)Shift: Monday Friday, 7a-3p,Call: Alternating weekend call, 2-3 weekends per month. 1:3 for any cardiac need. On post call day, they come in as usual to help get started on the day and as the morning progresses, if there are no cases for them to sit, they are free to go home and be on call if needed. IF they do not want to go home, they can visit with whoever is in charge that day about staying. cases; Varies. Do about 180 hearts a yearScope: Cardiac and Cardio. One day sitting hearts, one day in cardiology, one day post call. Straight forward hearts that require TEEEMR: EPICHospital: CHRISTUS St. MichaelGroup/support: TBDRequirements (boards, license): BC in Anesthesiology, and TEE Trained is preferred but not required.
