CGP: Corporate Controller (Stratus)

Century Group is excited to share a great opportunity for a strong Corporate Controller to join one of our clients in the manufacturing industry. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience and location. Expected starting base salary $84 to $97 per hour. Responsibilities:Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of comprehensive accounting and operational controls across financial planning, reporting, revenue recognition, expense management, and asset control. Develop and maintain standardized production cost models, conducting audits for accuracy. Offer financial support to all departments, aiding in areas such as purchasing, inventory, costing, budgeting, and interpretation of financial statements. Conduct extensive variance analysis of standard costs, including purchase price, yield, efficiency, rate variances, as well as fixed and variable overhead spending. Generate dynamic reports and analyses, effectively communicating findings. Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Provide financial analysis to support capital expenditure requests (CARs), including documentation gathering and calculation of payback periods and ROI. Ensure prudent decision-making, prioritizing value creation and cash generation. Conduct audits of planned business units to ensure accurate standard costs and yields in bill of materials. Oversee the Cost Accounting and Data Management Team. Develop and implement written financial policies and procedures. Implement best practices for financial management, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness. Fulfill other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. At least 7 years of experience in financial management. Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills. Profound understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance. Preference for experience in Food Manufacturing/Distribution. Experience in implementing policies and procedures. Familiarity with system conversion. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. REF #48208#LI-POST ZR
