Community & School Based Group Facilitator

Join Our Team as a Community-Based Group Facilitator! Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families? Every Child's Hope is looking for a dedicated Community-Based Group Facilitator to conduct psychoeducational and support groups in community settings. This role is vital in helping clients manage challenges like aggression, anxiety, and conflict through evidence-based curricula. Key Responsibilities: Assessment & Documentation: Thoroughly assess child and family functioning within school settings, collect initial paperwork, and document all interventions accurately and timely using ECH’s electronic medical records. Billing & Service Delivery: Accurately collect information to inform billing and service delivery within established timeframes. Group Facilitation: Provide trauma-informed and evidence-based psychoeducational and support groups within schools or other community locations. Trauma-Informed Practices: Be trauma-aware, sensitive, and responsive to youth, families, and colleagues through continuous training and education. Family & Community Engagement: Facilitate effective communication with families and community stakeholders, and connect clients and families with community resources. Tailored Programming: Collaborate with the Director of Community-Based Clinical Services to tailor group curricula to meet the specific needs of the communities served. Travel & Flexibility: Possess reliable transportation and be able to travel within the assigned region or county, including availability for evening groups. Team Collaboration: Attend all required meetings and trainings and participate in regular supervision. Qualifications: Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in human services or a related field. Professional experience working with children of all ages in a professional setting. Experience with group work is preferred. Interpersonal Skills: Effective interaction, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to remain calm in emotionally charged situations. Oral & Written Communication: Clear and persuasive communication in various situations; ability to present in group settings and compose informative written communication. Digital Communication: Proficiency in communicating effectively through email and text. Diversity & Ethics: Respect for cultural differences and commitment to promoting a harassment-free environment. Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior. Organizational Support & Judgment: Adheres to policies and procedures, supports organizational goals, and exhibits sound judgment in decision-making. Planning & Professionalism: Efficiently plans and organizes work activities, approaches others tactfully, and maintains professionalism under pressure. Quality & Problem Solving: Strives for accuracy and thoroughness, looks for ways to improve quality, and resolves problems in a timely manner. Customer Service: Responds promptly to customer needs and solicits feedback to improve service. Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and ability to use and learn an Electronic Medical Record system. Physical ability to talk, hear, stand, walk, and occasionally lift/move up to 10-15 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close and distance vision. Work Environment: Varied settings including office, community, and school environments with fluctuating noise levels.
