Human Resources Generalist

Axios Professional Recruitment is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support one of our clients in Lowell, Michigan on a contract basis. This role will play a key part in employee relations, performance management, and talent acquisition. The position is expected to work approximately 30 hours per week and will remain contracted through Axios Professional Recruitment.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidatesConduct interviews, assess candidates, and support hiring decisionsManage the onboarding process for new employeesAddress employee concerns and grievancesFacilitate conflict resolution and mediationFoster a positive and inclusive workplace cultureEstablish performance goals and expectations for employeesConduct regular performance reviews and provide feedbackSupport employee development planningAdminister employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and payroll coordinationConduct salary surveys and help ensure competitive compensation practicesIdentify training needs and assist with developing training programsDeliver or coordinate employee training sessionsEnsure compliance with employment laws and regulations (EEO, safety standards, etc.)Maintain accurate employee records and documentationPartner with leadership to support workforce strategies aligned with business goalsQualificationsBachelor's degree requiredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesWorking knowledge of employment laws and HR best practicesLeadership and team collaboration skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesProficiency with HR systems and technologyAxios Professional Recruitment is an entirely employee-owned company and the largest independent staffing firm in West Michigan.
