Our manufacturing sites span the US, France, Germany, Brazil, and Poland.Role OverviewThe Human Factors Engineer provides human factors services to internal and external clients as part of a world-class team of human factors experts.ResponsibilitiesPlan, manage, and execute human factors activities in collaboration with clientsContribute HF expertise within multi-disciplinary product development teamsAnalyze use workflows, goals, tasks, and experiences to identify user needsDesign and execute all components of usability studiesConduct use-focused risk identification and assessment (e.g., use FMEA)Evaluate concepts and existing products for improvement opportunitiesQualificationsBS/BSE in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Industrial Engineering, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field2+ years of experience in a human factors role within medical devices or healthcare preferredExperience conducting usability studies and use-related hazard analysisExperience creating experience maps, site/app maps, wireframes, and interactive prototypesFamiliarity with industry standards (FDA, HE 75, ISO 62366)Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, wireframing tools, and image/video editingWillingness to travel up to 20%Why Join Us?We prioritize patients in everything we do — understanding that accurate dosing and ergonomics are critical to treatment adherence.
