Job DescriptionPrimary PurposeEnsures the successful execution of daily department operations by aligning people, processes, and resources to meet established goals for quality, efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance.Major Duties & ResponsibilitiesOversee daily production activities to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.Maintain appropriate staffing levels and adjust labor as needed to meet operational demands.Ensure all team members follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Production Practices (GPPs).Monitor product quality, packaging specifications, and process controls; implement corrective actions to address defects or deviations.Uphold all food safety requirements, including HACCP principles, sanitation expectations, and USDA regulatory guidelines.Track and achieve key departmental performance metrics such as BMPH, Cost/lb., PPMH, and A-Grade %.Promote a safe working environment by enforcing company safety policies and ensuring timely completion of required training.Review and approve timekeeping, attendance, and time-off requests in Kronos and Oracle HCM.Support continuous improvement initiatives, employee development, and cross-department collaboration. QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.Bachelor's degree preferred in Agriculture, Operations Management, Business, or related field.Minimum 3+ years of supervisory experience; poultry or food manufacturing experience strongly preferred.Knowledge and practical experience with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).Familiarity with USDA regulations, sanitation requirements, and pre-operational inspection guidelines.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to coach and develop teams.About UsAre you looking for more than just a job?
