Our platform connects regulatory intelligence with operational workflows so teams can move faster, stay compliant, and scale with confidence. With over 600 customers, including some of the largest carriers and brokers, the business is growing rapidly and building a team passionate about solving compliance challenges in the insurance industry.Rhoads is recruiting for a Business Development Representative (BDR) who will be on the front lines driving top-of-funnel pipeline growth for the sales team. It's an exciting opportunity to join a fast-moving SaaS company during a phase of accelerated growth. The role is ideal for a proven, coachable, and motivated sales professional with 1 - 2 years of SaaS business development experience. Working closely with Account Executives and Marketing, you’ll identify, engage, and qualify prospects within mid-market insurance providers all the way up to Tier 1 Carriers, contributing directly to new logo acquisition and revenue growth. This is a high-visibility position offering structured mentorship, clear performance metrics, and a defined path to an Account Executive role. High-performing BDRs will have a defined progression to Account Executive within approximately 12 - 24 months, with mentorship and professional development support from sales leadership. If you thrive in a high-growth, performance-driven environment, this role will be a great fit.Key Responsibilities●     Drive outbound prospecting efforts across target mid-market to Tier 1 & Tier 2 prospect accounts.●     Research and identify key decision-makers at agencies, carriers, brokers and MGAs using tools such as ZoomInfo and Engage.●     Create tailored outreach campaigns & messaging that consistently generate qualified leads.●     Experience and motivation for efficiently executing on a large volume of daily outbound prospecting (~100 calls + emails & LI messages) is a primary expectation for this role.●     Collaborate with Marketing to support messaging for targeted outbound campaigns.●     Manage assigned inbound inquiries and convert early interest into discovery meetings.●     Maintain accurate activity tracking, pipeline hygiene, and reporting in Salesforce.●     Meet and exceed weekly activity, meeting, and opportunity creation targets.●     Partner closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth opportunity handoff and effective follow-up.Qualifications & Experience●     1-2 years of experience in a SaaS sales or business development role (BDR/SDR), with direct exposure to the insurance, compliance, or RegTech industry required.●     Proven record of exceeding outreach and pipeline generation goals.●     Highly organized and process-oriented, with strong written/verbal communication skills●     Proficient with Salesforce, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, and Engage (or similar platforms).●     Ability to thrive and execute in a remote work environment.Professional Attributes●     Natural collaborator who thrives in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.●     Analytical thinker who uses data to drive decisions and improve results.●     Passionate about technology and solving real-world business problems.●     Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven.●     Strong communicator who is comfortable on the phone and is highly effective at confirming follow-on steps that include a discovery and/or demo meeting.●     High monthly meeting booking ability What We Offer●     Competitive compensation, including a base salary and incentive plan to reward performance●     Health, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans●     Opportunity to grow with a company that’s scaling fast in a growing market●     Collaborative, mission-driven team focused on innovation and customer success
