With strong ambition, entrepreneurial energy, and a clear drive to win, we are building a team of forward-thinkers who are ready to shape the future of derma skincare on a global scale and make a visible, lasting impact.Location: Stamford, CT USA (hybrid, three days in office)Reports to: Global Head of AquaphorDirect Reports: 4 (2 Global Brand Managers, 1 Global Content & Communications Manager, 1 Marketing Coordinator)Objective Lead the Global Aquaphor Accelerator Marketing Team to scale Aquaphor from a US-dominant brand into a globally powerful cross-category dermo-cosmetic brand. Drive global brand strategy, Innovation pipeline and portfolio expansion, international growth as well as communication strategy and development with a major focus on US as key market.Your Tasks 1. Global Brand & Growth StrategyDefine and drive the mid- and long-term global Aquaphor brand strategy aligned to the 2030 growth ambitionDevelop the long-term 2030 portfolio vision that scales Aquaphor’s impact and sets the trajectory for global leadershipCraft an ambitious global expansion roadmap, unlocking opportunities across new and legacy categoriesBuild a clear global positioning rooted in US heritage while enabling international relevance and regulatory fit (cosmetics vs OTC)Identify global white spaces for expansion across categories and geographies 2. Portfolio & Innovation LeadershipOversee global portfolio strategy across legacy and new categoriesEnsure clear prioritization between core business growth (US) and global expansion projectsSteer global innovation pipeline in close collaboration with R&D, Supply Chain, Medical and other HQ functionsTogether with Senior Medical Manager, present projects in Pre-IIM meetings and senior forums (i.e. Aquasquad, Regular JFs with Derma President and/or US Derma Lead Team), championing bold ideas and clear strategic direction 3. Communication & Brand EquityDefine the global strategic brand positioning and brand equity vision Lead global campaign developmentLead global best-practice launch support creation and best-in-class communication packages across channels (campaign, website, social media) on global scale OTIFCreate best in class social media strategy and brand advocacy conceptsSteer lead agency on strategic levelUS–Global IntegrationEnsure strong partnership with North America marketing Drive alignment between global strategy and US execution Act as senior interface between US organization and Hamburg HQ 4. Team & x-functional LeadershipLead, coach and develop a high-performing global marketing team located in US and HQFoster entrepreneurial, agile and performance-driven cultureInfuse and inspire team with new ideas, a strategic vision and best-practice casesBuild cross-functional alignment on vision across Marketing, Medical, CMI, R&D (Formula, Claim Strategy & PackDev), Finance, Supply Chain and with US Derma Lead teamEnsure consistent messaging and visual execution across all brand touchpoints 6. Performance & GovernanceOwn and monitor global marketing budgetDefine and monitor brand health and financial KPIs in close collaboration with CMIProvide regular clear brand, market & competitor reporting in close collaboration with CMIYour Profile University degree in Business, Marketing or Life Sciences10+ years experience in global marketing and brand buildingStrong US market expertise required and ideally some experience outside US marketExpertise in dermatological skincare is a plusProven track record in end-to-end innovation and communication developmentExperienced leader ideally with expertise in managing or collaborating with hybrid/global teamsStrong strategic thinking and entrepreneurial mindsetExcellent stakeholder management and influencing skillsAbility to operate in matrix and cross-cultural environmentComfortable working in a hybrid team set-up (HH HQ and US) across time zones and managing stakeholders across regions with agility and empathyStrong communication, presentation and visual/verbal storytelling skills bringing a vision to lifeVery strong eye for details and excellence in executionFluent in English Additional InformationWe embrace Diversity and Inclusion and are committed to providing equal opportunities to all our applicants.
