FP&A Manager – Financial Analysis & Strategy 📍 Downtown Chicago | HybridA globally recognized law firm with 1,750+ attorneys across 20+ offices worldwide — and a certified Great Place to Work — is seeking an FP&A Manager to serve as a financial advisor to practice group leaders and senior managing partners.This is a high-visibility, strategic finance role for someone who enjoys partnering directly with firm leadership, building financial models, and turning complex data into actionable business insights.What You'll Do:Prepare monthly financial reporting packages focused on key performance metrics and projected trendsProvide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis for the Director of Finance, CFO, COO, and senior managementManage and develop financial models supporting the firm's annual budget and revenue forecastingMonitor practice group and office performance, providing financial support to managing partners on an ongoing basisFacilitate timely and accurate reporting and analysis of profitability metrics across practice groups and clientsDevelop and track targeted profit improvement goals for both practice groups and clientsAnalyze strategic investment opportunities including lateral hires, new office openings, office closures, and M&A activityCollaborate cross-functionally to surface financial issues requiring leadership attentionParticipate in law firm performance benchmarking surveysManage, mentor, and develop a team of analysts — setting goals, reviewing performance, and building modeling capabilityWhat We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree required7+ years of related finance or financial analysis experienceStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)Strong written and verbal communication skillsStrong motivational and leadership skills with experience managing and developing analystsExceptional analytical and mathematical skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlinesAbility to handle and maintain confidential information with discretionWhy This Role Stands Out:✅ Direct advisory relationship with the firm's most senior leaders ✅ Broad strategic scope including M&A, lateral hire analysis, and profitability improvement ✅ People leadership with a team of analysts to develop ✅ Award-winning culture recognized by Fortune, USA Today, and Great Place to Work ✅ Hybrid flexibility in downtown Chicago
