Learning Standards Officer
Position Overview RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting Learning Standards Officer in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This position is contingent upon contract award. Roles and Responsibilities Evaluate training curricula, instructional methods, and trainee feedback to ensure compliance with Navy standardsDevelop and maintain testing procedures, assessment tools, and course materialsProvide recommendations for curriculum revisions to ensure training materials remain relevant and effectiveMonitor and evaluate course delivery to ensure compliance with Navy training standardsOversee the Navy Education and Training Command (NETC) End-to-End (E2E) process to ensure alignment with Navy policiesCollect and analyze training metrics to identify gaps and recommend solutionsDevelop and implement criteria for instructor certification, evaluation, and sustainmentEvaluate instructors and Master Training SpecialistsEnsure all instructors are qualified to teach in terms of instructional skills and technical proficiencySubmit periodic reports summarizing training program performance, including recommendations for improvementProvide end-of-course reports, lessons learned, and student critiques by deadlinesRequired Qualifications and ExperienceValid U.S. driver's licenseSecret security clearancePossess a Navy Master Training Specialist certification or a civilian industry standard equivalentCompleted a certified Navy Instructor Training Course (e.g., NEC 9502, 9501, or 9518) or an equivalent civilian/commercial course certified as JIT/NITC equivalencyFive years of instructional experience, per DD-214 document, course certificates, or equivalentExperience in curriculum development, training program evaluation, and instructional systems designProficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointStrong oral and written communication skills; clearly writes and speaks in EnglishComprehensive understanding of the NETC E2E processCompany OverviewRMGS, Inc. is a growing small business headquartered in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
