DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs payroll-related functions including but not limited to processing new hires, termination status changes, tax changes, wage garnishments, deductions, and direct deposit.
Reviews and verifies payroll data in a timely manner, calculates overtime and other pay premiums, and enters payroll data. Oversees maintenance of payroll records and files including but not limited to sick time and vacation and other accrued leave.
Responds to routine inquiries concerning payroll deductions and accruals, wage garnishments, child support payments, and employment verifications.
Assists with the development and implementation of payroll practices, policies, and procedures.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Recruitment Essentials: Streamline and strengthen our recruiting processes, ensuring we attract talent that aligns with our evolving brand.
Policy Framework: Address, update, and refine company policies. There's work to be done on our employee handbook and job descriptions.
Onboarding & Offboarding: Enhance our employee transition processes, emphasizing compliance, efficiency, and a warm welcome.
Operational Accountability: Manage timekeeping and assist with payroll with an emphasis on accuracy, leveraging tools like ADP for streamlined operations.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
