Retail General Manager New York City $120,000 – $135,000 + Bonus & Full BenefitsThis is not your average retail leadership role.We’re partnered with a globally recognized hospitality brand looking for a Retail General Manager to oversee one of the most high-volume retail destinations in New York City. This role is ideal for a strong operator who knows how to lead large teams, drive sales, create energy on the floor, and deliver an elevated customer experience in a fast-paced environment.The space is vibrant, experiential, guest-focused, and constantly busy. Leadership visibility matters here - this is a hands-on role for someone who loves being in the operation, motivating teams, and driving performance in real time.What You’ll Be DoingLeading all day-to-day retail operations within a flagship, high-volume environment Managing and developing large teams across multiple levels of leadership Driving sales performance, profitability, labor management, and operational execution Creating an energetic, guest-focused culture centered around experience and hospitality Overseeing staffing, scheduling, coaching, and succession planning Maintaining strong merchandising, inventory, and operational standards Partnering with senior leadership on business strategy and performance initiatives Ensuring a polished, high-energy environment that reflects the brand experience What We’re Looking For10+ years of progressive retail or hospitality leadership experience Experience leading large, high-volume operations and sizable teams – ideally a 10million+ storeStrong financial acumen with experience managing P&L performance A dynamic, people-first leadership style with excellent communication skills Someone operationally sharp, energetic, and highly visible within the business Luxury, lifestyle, entertainment, flagship retail, or experiential brand experience is a huge plus
