Senior Full-Stack Software EngineerBerkeley, CA | 6+ month contractRole OverviewOur client is looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer to build the application used to deploy, configure, test, and service battery systems in the field. The product runs locally on Linux-based edge devices and plant servers, supporting engineers, technicians, and testers working directly with deployed hardware - with close integration into embedded software, control systems, and physical equipment.This role is for an independent application builder who can quickly understand a complex system and deliver features across the full stack without extensive handholding.What You'll DoDesign and build full-stack features for an application deployed on Linux-based edge devices and plant serversWork closely with embedded software, control systems, and hardware teams to support field-deployed battery systemsIndependently own features end-to-end, from understanding system complexity to shipping production-ready codeSupport engineers, technicians, and testers interacting with deployed hardware in the fieldWhat You'll BringStrong full-stack development experience with the ability to move fluidly across frontend and backendComfort working with Linux-based systems and edge/embedded environmentsAbility to quickly ramp up on complex, hardware-adjacent systems with minimal oversightExperience building tools that interface with physical/deployed equipment is a strong plus
