Sub-Assembly Technician

Job Description: Building packaging machine sub-assemblies Checking parts for proper manufacturing Installing mechanical components and sub-assemblies into machines according to diagrams and written specifications. Mounting auxiliary equipment to the machine Correctly positioning parts and drill, tapping, and reaming holes at designated points Aligning and connecting parts together with fasteners using hand and power tools Strong customer service skills, a team-player attitude & regular and acceptable attendance are required. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: 1 year of auto mechanic or industrial/mechanical experience is required. The ability to read schematics and blueprints is required. A basic understanding of mathematics principles. The ability to stand much of the working day. The ability to lift at least 40 pounds. The ability to multi-task. Must pass a criminal background check.
