The facility serves as a regional center for pediatric care with specialized Family Birth Center services and emergency department capabilities designed to support quality patient outcomes. About the Clinician's Workday The attending physician will serve as the primary pediatric hospitalist providing comprehensive inpatient care and emergency department consultations with 24-hour call coverage responsibilities. The clinician will round on inpatient pediatric patients and newborns in the Family Birth Center while managing patient assessments and coordinating care with nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams. Essential duties include responding to emergency consultations, stabilizing critical patients requiring transfer, and maintaining accurate documentation through electronic medical record systems. The position requires board certification in pediatrics and the ability to manage both routine pediatric cases and critical situations requiring immediate intervention with continuous availability for emergency pediatric needs.
