In this role, you will contribute to impactful projects across complex facility environments, helping drive energy efficiency, system performance, and long-term value for clients while advancing your own technical leadership path.What You Will Do:Lead and support mechanical system design for building projects, including HVAC and related systems across a variety of project typesDevelop detailed engineering drawings, system layouts, and technical specifications for assigned project componentsPerform engineering calculations, load analyses, and system sizing to support design decisionsCollaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, coordinated design solutionsPrepare cost estimates, evaluate equipment selections, and review vendor submittals for compliance with project requirementsSupport development of technical documentation, including evaluations of asset lifecycle expenses and assessments of facility conditionsParticipate in field investigations, site visits, and data collection to support project executionAssist in refining internal design standards, best practices, and engineering processesSupport and mentor junior engineering staff, contributing to team development and knowledge sharingEngage in continuous learning to stay current with evolving technologies, codes, and industry trendsWhat You Bring:Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited programAround 6-9 years of hands-on experience in mechanical system design for buildings and infrastructureFundamentals of Engineering certification required, with progression toward Professional Engineer licensureStrong experience with engineering design software and modeling toolsSolid understanding of HVAC systems, building systems integration, and design methodologiesAbility to manage assigned project tasks independently while collaborating effectively with broader teamsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsWillingness to participate in fieldwork and site evaluations as neededWhat Sets You Apart:Actively pursuing or having obtained a Professional Engineer (PE) licenseExperience supporting healthcare, institutional, or complex facility projectsInterest in sustainable design, energy efficiency, and high-performance buildingsProven ability to balance multiple priorities in a dynamic project environmentWhy This Opportunity:Hybrid work environment offering flexibility and balanceStrong emphasis on career growth, mentorship, and professional developmentOpportunity to work on meaningful projects that positively impact communitiesCollaborative culture that values innovation, ownership, and continuous improvementAbout Blue Signal:
