Year RoundJOB TITLE: Fleet Mechanic Lvl IIDIVISION: Mountain OperationsREPORTS TO: Fleet Maintenance ManagerLOCATION: Solitude Mountain ResortCLASSIFICATION: Full-Time/ Year-Round/ HourlyPOSITION :A Level II Fleet Maintenance Mechanic requires strong experience with gas/diesel engines and hydraulics/electronics to perform maintenance on a variety of vehiclesSPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:3-5 years' experience requiredMust be able to lift heavy items and work in adverse conditionsMust have a valid driver's license with clean driving recordMust supply personal tools and tool chestSnowcat, heavy equipment experience preferredDATES OF EMPLOYMENT: Year RoundJOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on all fleet vehiclesMaintain gas and diesel enginesProvide quality control for all Level I mechanics and belowTroubleshoot and repair hydraulics/electrical componentsTrain and mentor Level I and apprentice techniciansAssist Level III technicians as neededFabrication skillsOther duties as assignedEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYMENTSolitude Mountain Resort is an equal opportunity employer.
