You will spend the majority of your time in the field—working on equipment, developing your team, and improving how maintenance gets done.What You’ll OwnTraining & Team Development (40%)Lead from the field by training techs in real-time on equipment, troubleshooting, and best practicesBuild capability across your team—turn average techs into strong performersPartner with Operations to train site teams on preventative maintenance and basic troubleshootingReinforce standards through hands-on coaching, not just meetingsHelp develop and improve training programs that actually stickHands-On Maintenance & Field Execution (40%)Work directly on equipment alongside your team—diagnosing and fixing issues in real timeTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and chemical systemsDrive maximum uptime and wash quality across all sitesIdentify root causes of recurring issues and implement permanent fixesSet the standard for urgency, quality, and execution in the fieldStrategy & Planning (20%)Build simple, effective preventative maintenance routines that reduce downtimeUse tools like MaintainX to support execution, tracking, and accountabilityPrioritize resources, parts, and labor across your regionPartner with leadership on improvements that drive efficiency and ROIContinuously look for ways to improve systems, not just fix problemsOperations PartnershipWork closely with General Managers and Operations Leaders to keep sites running at peak performancePrioritize repairs that directly impact the guest experienceEnsure alignment between maintenance and operations—one team, one washSafety & AccountabilityLead safety from the front—proper procedures, PPE, and clean work environmentsIdentify risks early and take action immediatelyEnsure compliance with all company and regulatory standardsWhat We’re Looking ForStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience (industrial, automotive, or similar)Proven ability to train and develop others in the fieldComfortable working with your hands, tools, and equipment dailyExperience with conveyors, pumps, motors, hydraulics, or similar systems preferredHigh ownership mindset—you take action and solve problems quicklyAble to balance execution, people development, and planning without overcomplicating thingsWhat Success Looks LikeEquipment is running consistently with minimal downtimeYour team is stronger, more capable, and improving week over weekSites deliver a clean, dry, and shiny carRequirements: All candidates considered for this position must submit a valid driver's license and successfully pass a company insurance review authorizing them to operate fleet vehicles.
