The Estimating Insurance Restoration Estimator is key to the growing estimating team, helping ensure accurate, timely, and well-organized project planning and completion. This role involves coordinating documents, maintaining records, and supporting day-to-day estimating operations. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to estimators and project managers. Maintain estimating databases, spreadsheets, and budget reports. Ensure accuracy and completeness of estimating files and documentation. Support pre-construction meetings and bid reviews as needed. Weekly job auditing to ensure that all necessary information is in ProCore and other systems used. Import photos and other information into ProCore from other systems. Audit time and material invoices from sub-contractors confirming dates/hours worked, daily sign in sheets, travel and material receipts, consumables, and LHR labor logs. Provide documents and photos to other departments as needed. Intake budget dollar values from estimating in order to create budget spreadsheet. Ability to travel on a as needed basis. Ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time. Ability to type and use multiple computer programs at once. Ability to clearly speak and communicate with team members. Organization skills needed. Experience: Familiarity with Xactimate is preferred but not required Strong knowledge of a construction environment is a plus Must possess excellent customer service skills Must be computer literate Preferred candidate will have previous experience with property management, sales, and Strong verbal and written communication skills Detail-oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Must be extremely responsible with integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion Working Conditions Must be able to work on an active construction site Required to move, lift, carry, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance Stand, sit or walk for an extended period or for an entire shift Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting and pulling Required Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.Microsoft outlook, word, and excel are commonly used on a daily basis. Strong organization skillsmulti-tasking in order to complete tasks is important, focus and determination to meet deadlines and stay organized is imperative to complete items. Communicationclear professional communication including speaking and typing emails is required in order to assist with talking to adjusters, HOA boards, home owners, and executive officers. Working under pressureresponding to catastrophic events like hurricanes and tornados can be very chaotic, being able to work under the pressure of these situations and claim home owners is monumental. Working on active construction sitesmust be able to move, reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, and pulling; stand, sit, or walk for an entire shift.
