We are currently seeking a board-certified Psychiatrist or recent graduate eager to sit for the boards to join our team for long-term coverage at a Federal detention center just south of Phoenix, AZ. Responsibilities:Evaluate, diagnose, and treat psychiatric and mental health care needs Provide care for family units, urgent and emergency mental health cases Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care Offer gender-specific care, including transgender care and mental health management during pregnancy Qualifications:Board certification in Psychiatry or eligibility to sit for boards Unrestricted Arizona license and BLS certification Minimum of one year of psychiatry experience Experience in detention/correctional or residential settings preferred Flexibility to cover various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends Bi-lingual skills are a plus Benefits:Health and dental benefits provided Opportunity for long-term extensions beyond September 2025 For more jobs like this, check outPhysicianWork.com.
