With a strong pipeline of diverse and technically challenging projects, your expertise will directly shape project success from the earliest stages.Why This Role Stands Out:Take full ownership of MEP scope across projects ranging from $5M–$60MJoin a well-established GC with a strong reputation across South FloridaWork across diverse sectors: healthcare, K-12 education, hospitality, and commercial interiorsBe part of a growing preconstruction team (7 estimators)Clear pathway toward Chief Estimator or Director of EstimatingAs a Preconstruction Manager you will:Leading MEP estimating, analysis, and scope development across multiple projectsReviewing drawings and specifications to ensure technical accuracy and completenessManaging subcontractor outreach, bid leveling, and scope coordinationSupporting value engineering initiatives to optimize cost and performanceCollaborating closely with project managers, design teams, and leadershipProviding strategic input during preconstruction to mitigate risk and improve deliveryYou will ideally possess:Strong experience in MEP estimating or preconstruction within commercial constructionProven ability to manage MEP packages across multiple projectsExperience with ground-up and interior fit-out projectsKnowledge across sectors such as healthcare, education, hospitality, or officeProficiency with tools such as Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Procore, or Excel-based estimating systemsDetail-oriented, commercially aware, and confident working cross-functionallyThis isn’t just another preconstruction role.
